After the election, Lev was dismissed from his post, but the court has already restored. On December 17, Tatyana Lev was attacked near his home by two men who beat him repeatedly in the head before throwing her to the ground and hit it. The two men told him "it was for her husband" before fleeing. She suffered concussion and bruises.
The university employees have said they believe that the opening of the criminal case to be directly related to the election of the rector. The appointment of Lysenko has stagnated even a court case brought by a police colonel teaching at the National University of Internal Affairs, which claims to have submitted his candidacy and has ignored.
Although the university staff and the Deputy Minister of Education had no knowledge of a third candidate at the time, the court has forbidden the Ministry to formalize the appointment of Professor Lysenko.
